ORIGINAL: Vancouver_cinful Okay, people REALLY want to talk about weight? Really? Fine, then, I have a question. Why do so many male doms criticize overweight subs they don't know, or will never meet, when they themselves don't have the willpower, or control over themselves, to lose their own weight? Do they really think that the way their sub looks reflects on them as the master, but the way they themselves look, doesn't? Do they think we don't notice when they say before meeting that they have a few pounds they can afford to lose, the few meant 30, 40, or more? Is this honest? Go on, you want to talk about weight? Then lets discuss the men for a change. ::grumble:: For those overweight male doms the reason would be projection... point the fickle finger of fault to escape their own (aka: illusion). Illusion is a world where everyone is a supermodel and/or a lean mean fighting machine... especially the fat ones, whether they be male or female gendered. Illusion often extends to the belief that a fat person with a loud voice or attitude is not as fat. Similar to being unhappy with a full sized Chevy, but very quick to criticize those big huge Ford's and Chrysler's driving amongst all the lean mean luxurious low maintenance high mileage capable Honda's and Mitsubushi's on the freeway. The excuse is the same really among both genders... it's there naked in the mirror looking back... hmmm is it live or is it illusion? A change of behavior is required in order to effect a change in life... or you can make your own excuses and unsuccessful formulas... consume that ½ pound double greasy cheeseburger with extra mayo... but counter it's 1500+ calories by drinking a diet soda with a honey bun treat (500+ calories) for desert... that diet soda thing presents intent anyway! No need to run down a list of celebs who were obese, then lean... then obese again... as their lifestyles and behaviors changed. Many have had successful weight reductions... by merely following their programs and effecting behavioral changes as opposed to excuses and reasons for yet another consumption binge. Often people replace physical activities, especially SEX... with eating... no need for a success roadmap with that philosophy! There's an old adage regarding men... that if you cannot lift your own body weight above your head... you are too fucking fat! I've always been able to lift more weight over my head than my own body weight, but I'm sure if I let go and made excuses for the principle I would soon be considered too fat by that standard... as well as weaker, less tolerant to disease and not as healthy as has been normal. Perhaps the key is using a formula you can judge realtime by... as opposed to labels with print so small you can't read the calories since your vision has become blurred by the high amounts of sugar and fats in your allowed (justified) intake. Perhaps paying attention to the 5-6 ounces of chicken fat still attached to each of those 29 cents per pound leg quarters before flouring and tossing them in the fat to fry? Taking a good hard look at what you consume may be frightening. Make a list of everything you consume each day for a couple weeks, then read it again as it has grown... see how aware you really were of what, and how much went inside you.
