If Whiz goes to the Cardinals, I wish him all the best.  I would like to see him as Cowher's successor, but I don't think Rooney's will offer him the kind of money he can get elsewhere.  I think the job will go to Russ Grimm, who btw, is a Hall of Fame nominee for 2007.

Well, we all know I am for the Colts today...other than that, it would be the Saints.

I'll be pulling for your Colts today. If, on the of chance, the Pats beat SD tomorrow, I would much rather face the Colts than the Ravens.

I wonder how many folks in Baltimore are pulling for the Colts? There has to some who loved them so much that they never stopped following them...

Colts-Ravens: Field Goal Fiesta Bowl [8D]

Colts 15
Ravens 6

So far, the Colts D has done enough to keep this team going...

Precious.
He was red-faced and erm, red-necked during the entire game.
membn gets her wish (if the Pats win tomorrow), brought to her by the traitorous one!

Level -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/13/2007 4:49:24 PM)

LOL at "the traiterous one".... [:D]..... now, that ought to be a good game. If the Pats can keep Shawn Merriman and Sean Phillips off of Tom Brady, they have a great chance to win, I think.

Jadyn -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/13/2007 4:52:21 PM)

Yay Colts!!!!

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/13/2007 4:52:55 PM)

The playoffs are energizing!

maybemaybenot -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/13/2007 4:56:03 PM)

Well done Colts !  This is not a slam, but an observation: Colts seem to be getting the job done, despite Manning vs because of Manning. Which just might be a dangerous thing. they're playing like a team.

And yes, the game rested on Vinitraitor's foot and we all know he is the best there is.

PM should have been red faced, I am waiting to see his QB rating, as usual it will be way below par for him. < in Play offs, not reg season> Just something about the play offs that ruffles his normally cool feathers.

I love women who watch football!

Anyway, its so fun to hear all week how the Colts had no chance and then see them win.  For you Colts fans out there, smake you you root for the Pats tomorrow because if they win, next weeks game will be in Indy!!

DevilsVendetta -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/13/2007 5:11:39 PM)

Can't wait to see the Chargers crush the Pats. And Indy I think will be easier to beat than the ravens.

No run defense vs Tomlinson = gg

cloudboy -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/13/2007 5:32:34 PM)

Arg, it is so disappointing. I thought Billick was too conservative in his play calling in the beginning.

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/13/2007 6:02:32 PM)

At one point they showed the qb stats for the Colts vs Ravens.  They were close, both in the high 50%.  Bad.

SlaveAkasha -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/13/2007 7:59:38 PM)

I never thought I would want the Pats to win, but it does give us home field advantage.. which might just make it worth it.

They did play as a team, but PM did scare me a bit when it looked like he might buckle again.  I am glad his defense kept it stepped up again..not sure what has changed, but hope it continues into whoever we end up playing next week.
