i am not sure that i have ever seen that before the furthest i have ever been told to go is to capitalize the first letter of however i am addressing my Owner and that is it.  i lowercase anything referring to myself because that just puts me in the mood to discuss lifestyle stuff.

i personally like it

i see the capitals for Doms, a polite recognition of the Doms/Dommes Dominant status, just like the lower case to me, is a polite recognition of a submissives status.
The capitals dont mean to me that one is better than the other but just recognition of ones differences.

It's also a thing which helps me stay in D/s headspace, as every time i type "i" instead of "I" for myself or refer to myself in a lower case, it reminds me of my submissiveness.

In real life I can do things like sit on the floor and give the Dominants/Dommes the couch, to express how i feel and be in the headspace i want to be in.  Online W/we only have how W/we put O/our posts to express things and to feel how W/we want to feel.

Thirdly, the lower and capital letters are also a means in the vanilla online world, for other D/s people to recognise me and me them as  being in the scene, the lower case "i"s etc.. and "He" when put in the middle of sentence, if refering to my partner, is very recognisable.

i do not use the 'slash typing' myself... i do capitalize the words: 'Master, Dom/me Ma'am and Sir'. just my way of showing respect for people, i show respect to all... it does not have to be earned with me!

i don't think that style of writing is nearly as annoying as all the whiny, moaning, bitching, pissing and crying threads about how much it annoys you.

People actually have time to write about such things....... If it annoys you, then do not engage in it...........To each their own........... Who cares????????

\ = Oblique

Slash speak means something else entirely in the UK. Each to their own bla bla etc.
