I'm sorry, but I have to say this.

You have this grand smile, which doesn't let me take a word of yours all too seriously.  Beside that, you have a smiley with tears streaming down his face.

Why am I not convinced of your true and real sadness?

Yours,

benji

If it makes someone happy, I'm fine with it. It is weird grammar, but I'm not generally going to tell other people how to honor their relationship. For me, I capitalize Master when referring to mine and also capitalize prounouns referring to Him. I usually don't capitalize my name or pronouns related to me, but to not capitalize "I" just looks stupid to me. W/we and other such typing is a bit harder to read and also looks wrong to me.

This all goes back to showing your Dominant respect. Always putting Him first and not yourself.

Actually my dom forbids me writing I in lower case. So what you say doesn't apply to all doms. And some are language mavens who dislike reading non standard English.

More importantly however, is that there are many visually impaired people who use readers and this makes it damn near impossible to follow what is being said. IE " I slash i think You slash you are wrong when You slash you said I slash I"

i did not say all ... just some like it!

I don't have an opinion on it one way or the other, maybe it's jus because I am so new to the scene. However, I do find myself using it a few times, more so on Alt then on here and that's jus becuz the room I go into there are a lot of people that get angry if you don't show the proper respect.  Which, brings me to another point/question.  What about using proper names in the chat room, like if I were to address everyone on this message board by the first part of their sn(subbie, short for subbieblueeyes, for example) would it be just annoying?

It's the same everywhere, subbieblueeyes....some people will be annoyed, others won't care.

Okay, and what about the ones that don't keep it simple?

For the ones that don't, I guess you'll have to take a page from Dale Carnegie's book and type out the whole long-ass thing.  Just have to ask yourself how badly you wanna please them, darlin'.

Anyone writing to me with the S/style in question would be told to never do it again.

But how else could i tell You my blogthings results?

Personally, I tend to just let my eyes glaze over and move to the next post when I see excessive slashing afoot.  I may be masochistic, but the struggle that comes with trying to read such posts just isn't my cup of tea.

my nic is adaddysgirl....but i always signed everything Daddysgirl.  Then others started responding with DG....and i didn't mind....so a  lot of times i'll use that as my signature.  i don't really care what others use when responding to me.  i've seen others shorten names too....i've never seen anyone complain about it.  If someone minded, i imagine we would hear about it though

OK -

"Not fer nuttin" -

But, PLEASE do not hit this listing with the co-dependant "it is everyone else's fault that I am {fill in the blank}."

It is bad logic and pretty freaking mentally skewed to even consider this as a reality.

That is a load of BS and is akin to saying : "You are why I am an alcoholic".

No one is to blame for such a thing (where correctable) except for the person in the mirror.
