OK, someone made a comment on another thread and used the term 'higher kink levels'. I asked him to explain what that meant as I've never heard this term before, but he chose to ignore my question. What, exactly, is a higher kink level? Who determines what's higher and what's lower? Did I miss another memo or something? I mean, from my perspective all kink is the same 'level' but there's some stuff you don't like and some stuff ya do and certainly, there are things with a higher risk (of injury) factor but I don't see any one thing as being 'above' another thing. Is it based on how many people would do something, so if simply everyone is in to, say flogging, that is lower on the kink scale than people who are into, oh thumb cuffs, so thumb cuffs are a higher level of kink than flogging? If it's based on squick factor, how is that anything other than purely subjective? Clues please? (Or someone can just send me the Big Book of Kink - in pdf if ya got it.) Celeste
