you may have standards that differ from someone that is in their right mind and into financial slavery..I see your championing of the weak minded ..

Status: offline 		I don't know that this site does not accept the fetish, there are profiles full of this, there are several current threads, they just don't happen to have a check box for it and aren't into paypal.  They just don't promote it as 'THE FETISH'.  They don't go out of their way to absolutely dissuade it either. Admittedly, they do warn of the possibility that such things have a great propensity for the attraction of scam artists. (Somewhere, over the rainbow I know one of those drop-dead gorgeous big round backed slaves from Ghana is just dying to pay her way to see me, and probably already posted a thread that says am I the only one?)

On the other hand I have a blowjob fetish and a roll of quarters.  Equally as valid in my mind.  Perhaps we can find a common ground profitable to us both.

Status: offline 		Financial slavery runs too much risk for being scammed.  There is entirely too much risk of the site being caught up in something should one of the less upstanding attempts go wrong. Its a can of worms the owners of the site dont choose to get into.  However, since there is a professional services forum,  you can always look there to find more financial slaves for your bevy.

Isn't that making a profit financially via the ppl that are drawn here?..what's the difference? it's still a choice whether you engage those services..SaintAllie

To the OP: I think Cm is trying to save itself some legal hassle, not casting stones. Not because of ProDomme issues(there's nothing against that mentioned anywhere on the site) but rather because of the current laws that define confidence games.

By the legal definition of con games, financial domination could easily be prosecuted under the current laws by a crafty attorney, if the sub later decided it hadn't been such a good idea, or wanted revenge for some real or imagined slight. There would not be likely much defense.

I'm not an attorney. I can't give you the specifics. I don't know if it's been prosecuted as such yet. I might hunt out Jay Wiseman and ask him if I feel inspired.

To those who spit vitriol at ProDommes: ......bleh. Ya ain't worth it.

Status: offline 		Not living in the US.. I don't know the laws, and apparently they differ , state to state..I see the same issues as you do.. if people decide to move the goalposts on an agreed arrangement.( coloquiallism here for.. "changing the rules').

Pro Dommes have a niche..as do anyone else that enter into a service contract..( and in my mind that is exactly what it is)..people need to get off the pro dommes backs... SaintAllie

A.  I didn't realize it was a dead thread.  Someone on this thread pointed out that there were indeed OTHER threads on this topic, so I visited them, and commented on how I agreed with one poster.

I hardly think that was out of line, much less required the urgent reprimand.

B.  Telling me not to post my opinion, dead thread or not, is telling me to hush up.

They don't differ too much on certain things. I think that a con artist is defined the same way most places. Someone who convinces someone else to give up money for nothing, through use of some form of deception.

There may not be deception in all financial slavery, but I think that a legal case could be argued that the sub was led on to expect that more was going to occur than did, especially if there was online seduction involved.

And a frighteningly large number of con artists have swarmed on this particular kink, and feeding it's spread and growth. Again, not saying by any means that all who engage in this are con artists, just that there are a lot of them into this.

I think CM's decision probably reflects an unwillingness to play host to con-artists, and has therefor banished the whole subject out of hand. Note that there is no checkbox for breathplay on the other side. I think they'd ban mention of that too if it wouldn't bring them a major backlash.
