I find it offensively hypocritical that Collarme.com disallows financial fetishes from being referred to on a site that purports to be BDSM in nature.

It just goes to show you that Whatever "The Goddess Wants," isn't always whatever "The Goddess Gets."

Vicious little statements like that always garner a reply....so

With a pro-domme, the money you give may or may not be disguised as a tribute and therefore contribute to that particular paying customer's kink but the money is being paid for something other than the fact that the submissive wants to give it.  He is paying for a service, whether it is domination in the form of being told what to do, being made to wear diapers, being made to cross-dress, whatever.  Money paid gets services rendered.

In a situation where the domme is not pro, then things get a bit murky.  Why is the submissive giving the dominant money?  Because he wants to?  O.K....maybe.  If he could not give money, would the domination still occur?  I think this is a valid question as I find it a little hard to digest that the only submission someone would be interested in is giving money to the dominant to make her happy without an expectation of any other sort of dominance other than control of his wallet/bank account.  If domination in other ways would occur with OR without the money, then it seems to me that there really is domination and submission taking place and it is much easier to swallow the idea that he is doing this because he "really wants to" and not because it affects his interaction with the "non-pro" domme.

You are 100% correct.

A person who goes to a pro-domme is paying for a sevice to achieve some sort of sexual gratification. We can sit here and argue about if it is really sex or not all day. That's not the issue. The reality is that it isn't true BDSM. It's fake. It's basically a form of prostitution. The man is paying the woman for sexual pleasure. And that is an end in of itself. There is no relationship. There is no actual feelings for each other. The encounter is all about getting off and getting money. That's were it ends. And that is not what BDSM is about.

And sadly, this is what the vanilla world sees when they look at BDSM. And they use this as a foundation to establish a stereotype and prove the premise that it is a corrupt and dirty lifestyle.

And if someone wants domination of their bank account and wallet, they don't need to find a domme woman to do it. There are plenty of vanilla girls out there that would be more than willing to do that kink. Trust me.

Don't let it go to your head... any new profile created on this site will be hit up by the hoards of site sharks that pounce on ALL fresh meat that comes to CM.

In fact I'm sure the "pay pig" is one of the many people who has contacted you with his ingenious ideas of how he will go find paying customers for you.

As for your kink/fetish/whatever... no one is gonna stop you from telling those who contact you as to what your "guidelines" are... but CM is completely within their rights to not approve your written profile for whatever reason they see fit.

So rather than banging heads trying to get your way with this site by way of being granted a free way to promote your ummm, passion.... why not have one of your financial servants set you up with your own site & then pay for the advertising that CM hosts on their main page? Just look at this way, people won't have to randomly stumble upon your profile, it will be right there in their face every time they sign on. This will increase your traffic way beyond the BS site shark crap EVERYONE receives.

For those who might be interested in a financial submissive's view on the topic, this is an exceptional and insightful blog: http://shamed411.blogspot.com/

Now, would you be willing then, after reading of course, to tell this fellow that what he desires and writes so eloquently about is a banned topic on one of the largest BSDM relationship sites?

Does he hide it forever??!  Be disallowed from the opportunity to find someone who shares in/balances his needs and wants?

No, he just can't do it here.

It truly makes me sad how many people have had such negative and condescending comments here.  For god's sake,  can you imagine then the first BDSM person to come out in a vanilla environment and say I like this, this, and this?

Crucify then, your founding mothers and fathers who spoke up and demanded to be accepted for who they were, despite harsh judgement.  For they are the ones indeed, who have given you the freedom to even enjoy a website such as this, and given the owners of this website the freedom to have it.

You need to review some TOS and forum guidlines, and I mean that in all friendship.

Keep in mind that blackmail is illegal under any respectable justice system. It is a felony in the United States. And CollarMe cannot risk supporting or allowing an illegal activity to be performed on its servers.

There is also the issue of scam artists, fraud, and identity theft. All of which are also illegal.

Wow -

You really do carry on with the rationalizing, whining and weedling.

I honestly thought you had made your point very well several days ago.

The rules are the facts in this place... perhaps if you decided to turn over some of the financial benefits of slavery to them for advertising space, they would consider the rules a second time (this is, after all, a pay site with people who advertise).

But, I would not hold my breath for that either.

And, I am sure if you keep poking MOd 11 in the eye, s/he shall surely ensure you understand the fact that they 'do not care' if you agree with the rules - and, that this place (as all web sites) is not a democracy.

(And, Ron is right - the posting I am responding to violates the CM TOS in several ways <---and, I do not care if you "care")

Hey, I just pulled **that** from your profile.

The real problem with the finanical fetish scene are all the do me subs constantly opening their wallets and expecting you to take their money. Its just so objectifying to be seen as nothing more than a depository institution.

Ok. I read the blog. Financial domination is a form of blackmail. Thats what financial domination is? Thats all its ever about?

I thought it was because your spending was out of control and you needed someone to take the reigns. Is my idea ever practiced? What would that be called?

You agreed to follow the site's rules when you created your account.  If you find that you are now unwilling or unable to adhere to that agreement then you need to find somewhere else to spend your leisure time.  It's that simple.

You can flog this issue all you like, but you're going to have to find a different soapbox to do it from because as of now, this discussion is closed.
