Yes, but if you're going to be a hobbyist or lifestyler in a particular thing, then at least be able to sound intelligent to others within and outside of it. It's common courtesy.

They simply don't have the same written skills as others. So many people have learning disabilities in written expression. The words "true"and/or "real" seem to have a whole other meaning around here.

Do have to agree on the dominate usage, makes my skin crawl just slightly when I read it as well.

I'm kinda funky about wording. "What do you seek" conjures up a mental image of a tall thin pale woman roaming the Moors on a misty night. Emily Bronte-ish.

And to be perfectly honest I have never had that particular question asked of me in real life, only on line. I think I associate the word seek with MiLord and MiLady type talk, and that just isn't me. Works well for others tho.

What pisses me off? Being too tired to type.

I actually just searched my history, apparently I do know how to spell consentual. I just never thought about it, and never thought much of either spelling.

I have 8 results for consensual, 5 for consentual.

I just read a few more profiles, and noticed a disturbing trend of writing "spelling/capitalization/grammar doesn't matter in real life!" Ok, so it's usually written as "Spell/capsing/gramar don't matter RL!!!!" but still... yes, yes it does. Submit a resume with typos all over it and see if you get hired.

I think I almost see the idea behind it- talking and typing ARE different... but then SAY that. And then I can complain about something entirely different :)

I just followed the OP's usage. The apostrophe IS sometimes used when a lower-case letter follows a capital letter, as in "On my report card, I got three A's, two B's, four C's." Some grammar books deride that; others tolerate it. Shrug.

I also hate the word "lifestyle." I agree with whoever mentioned that one.
