Ha! In the community? You have to be kidding. People are absolutely stubborn. My father was trolling computer dating in the 1960's. My mother had to put up with the calls to the house as "his sister". That was when humans manually punched cards and fed them into a machine as big as your bedroom. My father was/is a cynic and wanted to see if he asked for a blonde if they would send him redheads.
The only reason I use any 'system' of website profiles is to be able to speak with other people that I would not meet immediatlely locally. It does not mean they do not live in my city. It does not mean they have to live 1500 miles away to pique my interest. I have lived in Spain and in Miami. It is about the first clue only. The rest is up to you.
I recently dated a woman who was "100%" 'matched' to my 'search' here locally within less than 10 minutes drive. She had too many male friends who would show up after I left with 'taco bell' and she threw up in my car on X-mas eve because the drinks were 2 for 1 and she arrived with so much money, etc.
This is all play...We all seek R/T and I'd bet it would cut our online time a significant amount.
