Well, being she's post-menopausal.. I doubt she'll have a period.  I wouldn't mind a bit more Women's Lib.  Women are loosing their focus and coping out by relying on men more.  It's embarrassing!

Status: offline 		The crisis of emergency rooms being flooded with people  because they don't have health insurance or the money to pay a doctor upfront. Many of these people will never be able to pay the hospital bill either. The result........ruined credit just because they were ill and needed medical attention.

Status: offline 		Anyone who would love to have free healthcare like they do in Canada and England should talk to someone who lives there...the service is horrid and the survival rate for bad problems is lower because you have to wait too long to get treatment.

On the Republican side, it is a bit more wide open. I don't think McCain will last. He's not loyal enough to the right wing. Guiliani is popular but he favors abortion and gun control. Which is all not a good combination for a GOP candidate because it deals with the two biggest lobbies of that party...guns and the religious right. So the GOP could end up going a few different ways.

Now all the Republicans have to do is get Rice for President and America will truly be in the shitter.

  There's no way she's going to be elected ; it's all hype for news /talk shows/television.

Hiliary has been brought up as subject matter at least four different times in long-ass threads since March of 05' when I first signed on here. Each time....even a majority of the girls on collarme stipulated that she was just too polarizing of an individual for them to vote for her.

And regardless of their party affiliation, we know that a VERY large percentage of the eligible male {men absolutely loathe her} voting bloc in this country isn't going to vote for her...So if the girls don't vote for her {most of them won't}, she's through.


In my opinion, women are the key.

Status: offline 		If anyone is watching SNL, they slaughtered Clinton.  It was priceless.  For one question she claims she is half black and she asks why when a male senator says he is half black, people take him at face value, but when a female senator says she is half black people demand proof (or something to that effect).  Hah!

It takes a year to get approval to see a doctor?  Anyone?  Any doctor?  Wow.  I must have crossed the border last year when I got a same day appointment with a doctor I was not even registered with yet.

Granted, we have a shortage of doctors, but that's not bureaucracy, that's a shortage of doctors. 

Don't you love it when a major point in someone's argument can be easily dismissed?  It makes forgetting the whole thing just that much easier.

Health care most definately is not free in the UK.It is almost free at the point of use.

With regard to a Muslim Presidential candidate, dont forget that in theory at least Islamic values take precedence over ALL things for devout Muslims.

Also, in theory again, it is forbidden to leave Islam and if you try the penalty is death !

Well Catholics as far as I know never bombed the US mainland.
Before you leap in and tell me about Iraq , pause and think that Islamic terrorist attacks against US overseas assets including military ones began long before even the the first invasion of Iraq, which itself was a response to Iraqui aggresion,  orchestrated by the Great Caliph in the Sky  Saddam Hussein, wasn't it ? 

Further you neglect the temper of the times NOW, not when Catholics where not trusted.

Further further there is a Mosque in B'ham UK called the Saddam Hussein Mosque. Not sure what its called now. Only moderates are allowed in there so I heard !!!!

Further further further some tenets of Islam violate the US constitution, not  least the idea of the seperation of Church and State.
Devout Muslims believe the state and Islam should be one, dont they ?
They may issue a fatwah if you say otherwise.

Status: offline 		My left buttock that the healthcare in the UK and Canada are "free".  Yes, they are nearly free at the point of use, but the government structure to support it comes out of taxpayers' pockets.

NOTHING is given for free. :)

The notion that health care will bankrupt America is myth being spread by the big multinational medical companies. It is a fallacy

Ponder this: Bush increased the military budget nearly 10% (approx) and 20% (approx) for the homeland security initiative and no batted an eyelash.

Well after the war is over, just spend the 30% and start saving the lives on the homeland.

Further more, If Western Society as a whole stopped allowing Big Corporations to have Big Profit in Medicare, You save substantially as well.

Here are some interesting facts.

This statement was presented to the Canadian Elite,  Politicians, Professionals and the Health Care community in 2003 by former president Bill Clinton, in his suggestion to persuade Canada not to go to a private health care system . The study was done in 1999.

These were the "median” (rounded up) annual costs for health care for the average healthy person at 35 years of age in these countries:

Persons in the: ---------- Cost for Medicare 
       
USA ---------------------- 1800.00 USD
Canada ------------------- 1100.00 USD
Britain -------------------- 980.00 USD
Germany ----------------- 800.00 USD

Maybe Ms Clinton has a foundations with some good points. (even though they are few)
