Status: offline 		I thought this was an interesting article about how we are locking up immigrants into tent cities... some of them applying for political assylum, some of them undocumented. We are locking up entire families, and these are basically prisons in which parents cannot have access to their children at night.

Today's Democracy Now had a show interviewing some of these detainees, one family happened to be unlucky enoug to be on a plane that had an emergency landing for a heart patient, they were detained because they lacked an American visa and they are Iranian

If they are in this country illegally, they should not expect to be in a country club.
Maybe this will cut down on illegal immigration.

Edited to add, many are here to receive political assylum, so they lock them up while they are being processed.. they lock kids up. I am not afraid of kids, are you?

Status: offline 		A testimony to the paranoia and inhumanity that the hubris of one swaggering puppet has wrought. I still can't believe he could get elected a second time. If we make it through the next couple of generations and still have things like books and language at our disposal, this will one more episode to look back on and marvel at the power and reach of ignorance. We must be addictd to it.

I usually agree with a great many of your posts but I too have zero sympathy for these folks. They are in the position they are in because they have a few thousand people at the top of the pyramid that are ten times more ruthless and greedy than they are. They have a great country with a vast array of national resources… the only thing stopping them from achieving the dream is themselves. Notice I said only thousands? Think about that.  

The Iranian revolution and the dismemberment of the US installed puppet government was started from cassette tapes covertly passed out to the masses that preached revolution. Some will suffer and die before any gains are made.  

We are sitting over here in this great country while a similar five thousand or so greedy sons a bitches are looting the Pentagon of tens of billions of tax payer dollars, involving us in unnecessary war, charging us three bucks a gallon for gas, and generally just driving our great standard of living way down. Why is this happening……because we gotta bunch dummies around who don’t care and are more concerned with the likes of Anna Nicole Smith and where she gonna be buried.    

My answer to both ours and Mexico’s problems :  

Identify the five thousand or so in each country, round them up…..and either beat the hell out of them or throw them in jail.

Any amount of evidence exists, Zensee, that he was not fairly elected.  read Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s discussions about election fraud and voting machine tampering.

Status: offline 		I would expect that you would not make these statements without listening to the broadcast.. there is a 9 year old Canadian citizen whose parents are Iranian, they were stopped on a plane going to canada because there was an emergency landing. The 9 year old has chronic asthma, and they are in detention because if bureaucratic bullshit, as are many others. You may not have sympathy for the kids locked up without school or allowed to socialize wuith other kids... I thought you were more of a humanitarian

No it was not a friendly suggestion, you were intending to get me to flame you. My only response it you are not getting rid of me so easy..people like me will continue to watch our government and call them on injustice and inhumanity even when it is not popular. And you know what? I am ok with that because it just shows that I am constantly ahead of my time because I am better informed than most of you.

I have to remember that the vast majority of people that hate immigrants on this site do not represent most people who would not approve of locking children in detention camps

Sanity:
I am not sure just how you make the leap from treating someone in a humain manner to giving them a billion dollars.
The post was primarily about the U.S. illegally detaining citizens of a forign nation and seperating the family.

I had that same opinion. Until just the other day- an ugly side of what I thought was a buddy from NL.  He is ending our friendship cos I did not send him a cyber birthday flowers. The groups- purpose was to place cyber flowers on cyber graves.  I did this- with his group. I took a break-- When aunt helen passed away I asked him to alert the group=for flowers. He did. But since I did not do him borthday flowers, Im the bad guy.

Either way- this is crises enuff for him to delete my contact info- and tell me to never email him again.

Some of the "civil" folks in EU, are fake. Case in point- for centuries they bickered with eachother. Stereotype and hold attitudes.

In the USA, we pretty much hold no grudges- bewteen states.

In the above, the EU, could learn a thing or two, about getting along with others.

Proof positive the 1 exists. He was my window to that country.

I been kicked out of classier places!

There is a lot of racism in Europe, and there are many people that hate immigrants all over the world...so perhaps I just hate ignorant people. Thanks for pointing out not only Americans are ugly with their ethnocentricity.
