Fatdomdaddy: for someone who is poking fun at others for venting about their problems, you seem to have some pent up frustration as well. no, im not saying i know you or what you think/feel, but after reading your posts is sounds to me more like you are trying to overcome what you are by belittling others with the same problems. just a thought...its ok to be happy with yourself, but unhappy with the situation. i personally love being able to tell someone that i could simply sit on them during a fight and they wouldnt be able to move, but it still hurts just a little bit to hear someone make fun of you for ANYTHING(especially when you are way too nice to do it back). please stop indirectly telling others not to talk about their problems because you cant seem to make yourself do so. it does not make you strong. honestly, there is quite a lot of "fat discrimination" in our society. in some countries being fat means you have money to buy good food(lets say..cows for milk), in our country being skinny means you have money to have a personal trainer and be on a special diet. i personally dont believe we should just suddenly roll over and say to everyone "its ok to be fat!" because honestly, for a 10 year old it is NOT. its no good to look at an adult who is over weight and call them names, or think they are a bad person because they arent model thin, but we shouldnt be giving our children(who are already the fattest in the damned world) the idea that being too big to fit into their school desk, or so out of shape that they cant run 1/4 of the track, is ok! as roll models for the next generation we have to be comfortable with the image we are sending them. are we confident? are we healthy? do we advocate being healthy and active? quite honestly, despite our countries obsession with being thin, our children keep getting fatter at a younger age. we could always blaim how we put so much pressure on them to be thin as a society, that it causes them to over eat, but i consider that bullshit; if you have children, or have influence over children, you have the power to turn off the tv, take away the magazines and show them an image of a healthy, happy and active individual, over weight or not!(hey, if youre considered morbidly obese, but can hike up a mountain, bully to you, because i sure cant!) hey, i have an idea...theres this country in africa(i cant remember the name) where they actually fatten brides up before they get married, if they arent already fat enough. the reason is because they prize cows more than anything, including currency, and if you are fat that means you obviously have many healthy cows that produce a lot of good milk. i say we all move there, and have someone treat us like queens because were so fat we cant move! lol!
