I am in Las Vegas, and you'd think Sin City would be open to this lifestyle, however, the laws here in Clark County (where Las Vegas is located) are pretty strict. Prostitution is illegal in all counties with populations over 250,000, which is a huge surprise to visitors who think that this town is one big orgy of debauchery. There's a small community here (my Master comes from the Denver and California Bay area communities, and he says it's small here) and also considering that I know pretty much everyone here, yeah, it's small. Basically, the problem in Vegas is money. BDSM doesn't make boatloads of money for anyone, so it will never be legalized in any way. Players risk mandatory arrest for domestic violence if they are caught. There is one private dungeon, but it is open to "members" only when the owner decides to have a party, but can be rented. It is in a quiet, residential neighborhood and obviously operates without any licensing, so if someone complained about the party, lots of people would get in trouble (it's also in an area that has a history of raids on "massage parlors").
