Even though they may not be pressing on other teeth and causing pain that way, debris can still accumulate around them in the gums and cause infection and pain. He'll give you a shot to numb you, then pull them out. You'll go home, take some tylenol, and it won't hurt. He will give you a paper that tells you how to take care of your mouth after the extraction. It is very important that you follow YOUR DENTIST'S aftercare instructions, and not someone else's. Generally this will include NOT rinsing your mouth for 24 hours, no smoking, no drinking thru a straw, and normal food and drink. If you don't feel like eating, you need to keep your fluid intake up so you don't get dehydrated. Cali
