Research where your gas comes from. I only buy American. And a bullshit thing like "magic trick" at the cost of three thousand lives isn't gonna do anybody any good other than to call you crazy.

Can we burn their fields with their own oil? Please?

Iran :P
which is a big oil supplier...adn aAfrika also....soon also Russia..when Shell gets the contract.

where ever you buy oil..you propably buy it from "bad guys" in the end. Because oil is almost the most important thing in the world

I do not always agree with her, but since she often comprehends me when all others do not, it is obvious that she has intellectual abilities that far exceed theirs.

Maybe so, Rule, but while she's capable of feeding the ducks of Birmingham with a stale loaf of bread, there's no record of her feeding the five thousand.

There is a simple trick to it.

(Actually, it was a bit of a generalization. I recall that Focus50 once caught me making a mistake; sharp mind, his.)

Well, maybe she did. Who knows what she transports in those trucks of her. Food?

I still say that she is holy.

How would you go about cutting off terrorist funding?

Close down the CIA and all those other three letter groups. (Won't work for long, though.)

America did support terorists also in the past (perhaps still). It depends on which side you are on ;)
I recall their own weapons (delivered by CIA) were used on the soldiers in Afghanistan.

I take it that you are suggesting iran contra sorts of things, where cia and military shipments were used to bring in drugs.......and not be searched by customs. Which were then brokered to criminals to get under the table funding for "black projects" that they did not want to have to pass through congress?

The British government tried to stop the IRA raising funds in North America through the Nor-Aid scheme in the 1980's. The US government certainly tried to help and yes it did reduce the monies raised. What resulted in Eire and Northern Ireland was an almost immediate rise in serious bank robberies, fraud, more money extorted through protection rackets and kidnappings, an increase in drug selling and also the distrubution of illegal porn.
Terrorists will find a way of funding themselves, the Taliban probably receives most of its funding from Bin-Laden who don't forget is independently wealthy and still appears to have access to his riches despite the best efforts of the CIA & MI6. The Taliban also still has many mqany weapions stockpiled from the days of the Soviet occupation. They became very adept at robbing the Ruskies, as well as happily receiving secret arms shipments from both the US & the UK. Those arm shipments are a matter of record.
The problem is yet again, foreign powers interferring where they are not wanted! The excuse for Afganistan was 9/11, Iraq was linked to it & now there is the very real threat of Iran being added! Yet, in Zimbabwe, the corrupt government of Robert Mugabe is still in power despite elections results which have clearly shown the Zanu-PF party the door. His corrupt attempts to stay in power have seen millions of acres of fertile and very productive farm land turn to waste, yet no-ones gone in to do anything? Why, is it because theres no oil in Zimbabwe?

There is lots of government stuff not searched by customs, like diplomatic mail for instance.

Pff. The IRA was so heavily infiltrated by the British MI-numbers that there was hardly any that was not an MI-agent. That whole NI conflict was artificial.

But you ARE aware that the iran contra smuggling incidents are documented, even if Oliver North agreed to be the fall guy?

And that this sort of thing has been going on since at least Viet nam? Seems like a pretty good reason to let poppies grow.
