Those are a few I found without having to look too hard. CBS news even reported that 65% of Americans are now overweight...so it's not just the gals who need the larger sizes. Also, according to the garmet industry those sizes do not equate with sizes from the 1940's. A size 8 from today is much larger than a size 8 from that era. I'd have to say she was pretty much dead on with that statement.
