I am well aware of the dictionary term but my confusion is how any transvestite could hide their true sex from a sexual partner? i.e. is it socially OK for you to hide from me what colour your pubes are? Why should it concern me if it doesn't have any realistic bearing on my rights? You talk about how it is all computer based i.e. not related to further down the track when they meet in real life so where is the ultimate harm done here?

caveat emptor!

If you want a yes or no answer: Yes it is ok for people to lie to me on the oh so dangerous internet, they do so as they please and I don't have to be so naive as to believe them. I'm certainly not going to concern myself with it as you are. You are sounding like some kind of Mary Whitehouse of internet policing. People do what they need to in life leave it at that, there is no real crime here.

Tip: contrary to popular belief intermittent capitalisation makes a paragraph harder to read.

After I viewed every profile on Collar Me, in which the profile creator listed "female" as their sex, I noticed that far beyond just a couple of profiles, in fact, MANY, MANY of these profiles were not of genetic females at all, but were the profiles of male transvestites who had selected, in their personal and physical description page (page 1 of the profile application), their sex to read FEMALE. With so many (I stopped counting when I arrived at the 300th profile that had been created in EXACTLY the same manner); all were male transvestites, all listed themselves as female, and the majority of THOSE MALE TRANSVESTITES WHO LISTED THEIR SEX AS FEMALE, listed their sexual preference as "LESBIAN", I KNEW that the practice being employed was a "method", and NOT hundreds of mistakes

I gotta ask,  so what?
I  think it is deceptive. I agree with you its deceptive.
But so what? The deception will not survive first contact.

And if all they want is online play, no harm done.  Both parties can pretend they have exactly what they want.

I think whether someone is preop, post op, genetic female (in their opinion) or transvetite, or crossdresser, one should always let their potential partner know they have a dick or had a dick. Anything less is immoral and could get ya beaten up.

AnimusRex -> RE: Should Male Transvestites Be Allowed To Disguise Their Birth Sex? (9/28/2009 3:40:07 PM)

The question is a bit vague-

Disguise their birth sex.....
at work?
On a date?
To their next door neighbors?
By their clothing?
On a medical questionaire?
On insurance forms?
When donating organs?

My opinions, in order:
yes
no
yes
yes
no
no
no

Happy researching!

Lockit -> RE: Should Male Transvestites Be Allowed To Disguise Their Birth Sex? (9/28/2009 3:45:04 PM)

If someone is going for surgery they have to live for a certain amount of time as female or male... which ever applies. They are required to.

NYLass -> RE: Should Male Transvestites Be Allowed To Disguise Their Birth Sex? (9/28/2009 3:49:29 PM)

Damn, I'd wind up skewing all your research.  I have submissive listed because CM doesn't have sadomasochist as a choice.  (There's nothing submissive about me at all.)

From a personal standpoint, the transvestites I know don't live as the opposite gender.  The same with the crossdressers I know.

My answer: ask to check what's on their passports or driver licenses.   Take those as the response.

Hmmmm how would you classify a "sweet Transvestite...from Transsexual... Transylvania?"    *Sing it with me*

After this and now this poll... I cannot take the research here seriously. It is more trying to prove a point, started with an agenda and there are holes blown throughout the stance of the researcher's opinion on it all.

Then when the poll doesn't go well we find out that the researcher is also researching how differently CollarMe and it's visitor's compare to other sites... which wasn't covered in the research poll of this thread, therefore was disguised in my opinion.

So in summery... BULLSHIT happens.

Well, it's obvious that you have never done actual, legitimate research.  If you had, then you would already know that a simple opinion poll is not a scientific poll whatsoever.  Whatever your personal opinion on me is, voicing it in a post on this poll does not do very much to establish any kind of credibility for yourself, whatsoever.  It only serves to reinforce my understanding, taken from all of the other nasty comments that you have directed towards me, that you just simply don't like people from Minnesota.

So, on behalf of all the citizens of the great state of Minnesota, I am proud to simply say that I certainly do not care what you think about the poll; and at the end of the day, most of the other citizens of this state probably could give a rat's ass about your opinions as well.

Alot of us here give a Rats ass about Lockits opinion. She is intelligent and thought provoking and sees more than black and white. She is not here trying to prove she has credentials, She has no need or agenda. Cant say the same about you.

dickkitty -> RE: Should Male Transvestites Be Allowed To Disguise Their Birth Sex? (9/28/2009 3:52:01 PM)

I think you need to rework your idea......

It seems you couldn't  get the data you wanted and now your using that to get information on how people feel about this...... If I'm understanding correctly which is kinda a whole different direction no?

Here's how i feel about the question......

You kinda have to be honest to a point, not exactly advertise it on your head due to how people might take it negatively, you can lie about it to everyone(or disguise as someone said earlier) except the people who matter.........but it is a shame to limit one self to only two options no love for androgyny lol.

Be careful how much and what information your going to grab I'm not sure how legal it is.

Also there's always going to be a skew to results, with user input it's messy you need VALIDATION so maybe this is not a good source for that unless YOU want to validate it, so do it or not.....trans on here stands for transgendered I would like to think it means transsexual for the more serious but that is not how the terminology is laid out so trans on here could mean a general cam pantyboi can you sort that out? no you can't there's not enough options on here to label everyone and people aren't going to stick to them anyways....

your best bet is to do a sample of 50 or something and validate manually by picture or whatever that's your best route and not guaranteed.

MsLeslieBabydoll -> RE: Should Male Transvestites Be Allowed To Disguise Their Birth Sex? (9/28/2009 4:02:34 PM)

If it were only one person telling a "little white lie", that would not matter to myself or anyone really.  When there is a group of people creating a LOT of fraudulent information, and then trying to influence a debate, or my membership in any club, or my ability to speak my mind freely, where I play by the rules, then I call them on it, expose it, and seek to eliminate it as best as I can.  More importantly, when such a group of people make me, personally, a target, I fight back.  If you fake information on your Collar Me profile / application, and it is something as important as your sex, on a dating site, and by something as simple as your photograph you out yourself as a liar, and that results in you getting kicked off the site for falsifying your information, then I say GREAT!  More power to the site owners!

Anything that I can do, in any aspect of my personal life, to defeat people that are trying to make my life difficult, or trying to restrict my access to the same rights and privileges as they receive, when they cannot tell the truth, and I am not lying about my sex, then they absolutely need to exit; by any means possible.  I will gladly take up the fight for truth and honesty with other people here at Collar Me; then, if you take the position that it is okay for you to lie about your sex, then you just confessed to violating the provisions that you agreed to uphold, when you joined the club.  If you are a member of a group, doing such a thing, that is meant to stifle and depress the rights of others in the same place, then I can say that I am all for helping you to exit from the club.

I have an ongoing scientific study, that I am conducting right now, in which 8 of the original participants, out of 20, were removed, and replaced, for falsifying personal information on their applications.  When it is a blatant falsification, that cannot be easily hidden, and it is known, then I am all for enforcing rules and regulations that would expel them, whether it be in relation to where I work, a scientific study I conduct, or a dating site I am a member of.  I see no differentiation in any of the three.  The more liars who get outed, the better the dating site is; period.  And I am all for making Collar Me the very best BDSM site out there for dating.  Anything that I can do to help make that happen, I am committed to doing, if I have the ability.  If you aren't interested in that last goal, then perhaps it is you who should move on.  Because I am not leaving.

KYsissy -> RE: Should Male Transvestites Be Allowed To Disguise Their Birth Sex? (9/28/2009 4:03:24 PM)

And how could he tell which ones were lying by looking at their profile?

I agree with the sentiment, BUT it is a free site and aliases can be created at about 1000 times as fast as they can be verified as liars and deleted.    You are fighting a HOPELESS battle.

lusciouslips19 -> RE: Should Male Transvestites Be Allowed To Disguise Their Birth Sex? (9/28/2009 4:07:30 PM)

The OP has been personally attacked by everyone and is the target of lies? Can You Say Persecution complex?
I got news for ya honey, the world does not revolve around you. I know, Its rough but it the truth is, No one puts anything out there to target you specifically.  Really, its true. Its not about you.

Lockit -> RE: Should Male Transvestites Be Allowed To Disguise Their Birth Sex? (9/28/2009 4:09:09 PM)

For someone who really is taking a stand about the truth... important truth... you don't seem to get it that you are being judged or evaluated by what you say. In your first profile, you did not tell people you had a husband. In the other thread you mentioned having a husband many times.

So are you married Leslie or not? And if so... what's the deal? I mean... didn't you have to explain um... well... your situation to get married? And why not tell people on your profile you are married if you are?

MsLeslieBabydoll -> RE: Should Male Transvestites Be Allowed To Disguise Their Birth Sex? (9/28/2009 4:14:40 PM)

It is very plain on My profile that I am married Lockit.  Geez woman, you just CANNOT get your facts straight about anything at all, see the following:

I have a man, and a very happy marriage

That quote is taken from My profile here at CM, below is the URL:

Sounds like jealousy to Me Lockit.

Hmmm, well I guess that since I am not a male crossdressser, no, the poll is definitely not about me.  And it's not about you either!  What do you know, you agree with me!  [:D]
