Read what I was responding to Sanity, I was not talking about the pointless picture, once again, you will  not spin me.
we are talking about the bag of meat called limbaugh.
not about hypocrits in general

Sanity -> RE: Rush taken to hospital (1/2/2010 9:26:59 AM)

Oh, you're from Canada! I see...

Well, we don't have waiting lists here, especially for heart attack victims, so you can calm down.

Jealous? Hell no I'm disgusted. Left or right has nothing to do with it. What I'm talking about is the rich and well-connected bypassing those who are on waiting lists. In this case yes it is a far right.....person...passing the lines, but I'm not saying this because he is on the far-right, that isn't why he skipped the lines. His money and connections are.

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: Rush taken to hospital (1/2/2010 9:32:57 AM)

Uhhh Sanity, people who need emergency care don't wait here either. I'm guessing that how long someone waits in the US is dependent on their insurance. Here (unless you are rich and well connected) it's dependent on when you go on the list and how sick you are....and we don't starve in order to get care.

Lucylastic -> RE: Rush taken to hospital (1/2/2010 9:36:19 AM)

Sanity, you are getting beyond a joke, you have to be kidding me, that is more pathetic than the time you tried to tell us that Obama is a manic depressive with that lovely clip that you didnt realise was an onion special, SNORT

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: Rush taken to hospital (1/2/2010 9:40:35 AM)

Wow, I must have missed that gem Lucy.....not that I'm complaining of course [:D]

CORRECT- we don't have waiting lists. Instead, there are two categories- those who can pay get treated, while those who cannot are dumped into the street.

No, I don't mean dumped into the street in a metaphorical sense, or figuratively speaking; I mean, literally driven somewhere, and dumped into the street, as documented in this LA Times Article
Money quote:
Doctors at College Hospital diagnosed Steven Davis as suffering from schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and schizoaffective disorder. Doctors at the Costa Mesa mental institution prescribed him numerous drugs to deal with paranoid delusions that had led to an earlier suicide attempt.

But that didn't stop the hospital from hauling Davis into a van and driving him more than 40 miles north to downtown L.A., where they dropped him off outside the Union Rescue Mission. When mission officials complained to the hospital, the van returned and drove Davis a few miles south to another shelter. Davis wandered away without ever entering.

Oh, a one time occurance, a scandal...? um, no. This was/ is a regular practice, as this article points out.

So yeah, in fucking socialist Canada, that man might have been put on a waiting list to receive treatment. Gawd, teh inhumanity!
Here, in the US of A, we simply drive him somewhere and push him out the door like a stray dog.

Just like Jeebus would have done!

No, you just have people waiting to see if their insurance co will approve the treatment they need.

housesub4you -> RE: Rush taken to hospital (1/2/2010 9:42:29 AM)

Well perhaps he was treated so well because Hawaii has passed insurance/medical reform much like that being offered in Congress now which Rush does not agree with.

So here you have a state which offers every person affordable health care and those against such programs are saying how great the medical care is he received

Well thanks for supporting health reform then, cause that is what they have had in Hawaii since 1970

Of course Rush would probably think any health system is “just dandy,” mainly because he is a multi-millionaire and can afford the best health care wherever he might be. But this is not the case for tens of millions of Americans who are unable to afford care or insurance due to the rising costs of health care in the U.S. But it’s also odd that Limbaugh would cite his experience in Hawaii as evidence that the U.S. health care system is “fine” seeing that Hawaii has already passed reform measures similar to those that Congress is currently considering as part of comprehensive reform — measures that Limbaugh has constantly been attacking. The state enacted a measure in the 1970s mandating that employers provide “relatively generous health care benefits” to full-time employees (Congress is currently considering a similar provision is part of reform) and Hawaii now has one of the lowest rates of uninsured in the nation, and more access has provided space for innovation and brought down costs:

We all missed it, it never happened. Lucy has a habit of making things up when she's on the losing end of an argument.

Hmmmm somehow I doubt that Sanity, Lucy is reliable and if she were to make something up, I doubt she would come up with something like that.

Sanity -> RE: Rush taken to hospital (1/2/2010 9:45:52 AM)

Thinkprogress, hmm? [:D]

Thats the same as someone using rushlimbaugh.com as a "news source".

Cute though, good for a chuckle.

Sanity -> RE: Rush taken to hospital (1/2/2010 9:59:53 AM)

MarsBonfire -> RE: Rush taken to hospital (1/2/2010 10:38:10 AM)

Hummm... Tyra Banks gives up doing her talk show, and Rush goes into the hospital with a near heart attack... Wow, if ever there were portents of 2010 being a GREAT decade, these are it! Now, if only Glenn Beck were to drop dead of a brain embolisim... the world would be a better place indeed!

PS: if Rush had died in Hawaii, do you think his teabagger listeners would accept a Hawaiian death certificate?

It used to be no time limit but when people abused that it was changed to within an hour and that was a few years ago.
