Granted, but the large void left behind by that image is suddenly filled with images that are more perverse, meaner, or just plain darker. I wish that I could find a way to make my dreams return to me...

Granted, but when he completes the dinner, he retires to whereever it is that he resides, leaving you all alone to enjoy the meal. And he forgets the dessert. I wish that I had paid attention and learned how to cook.

Granted you live healthily forever, isn’t life grand? There was this film once the title escapes me. In the film a scientist captured the angel of death by feigning killing himself to tempt said angel of death into a trap. He lost his angel of death and so lived an eternity but having gone through every emotion and experience life had to offer he so wanted to die. He tried to kill himself in many ways even jumped in front of a bus but all that got him was trapped in a hospital bed for the remainder of his life i.e. forever. I wish those annoying telephone sales people would shove their headsets up their arses and quit calling me. edit: Life = Live

Granted, but instead of hearing their obnoxious voices, you hear sounds of a more gutteral nature. I wish that T-Mobile would actually put a cell tower out near my house to replace the one they lost during the '04 hurricanes. This almost never there service is annoying as all get out.

Granted; the telemarketers all shove their heads up their asses, but they still call you. Now their voices have an annoying, muffled, hollow sound, and odd smells emit from your telephone when they call. Umm.... I wish a handsome man would spank me so I have better things to think about.

Granted you’ve just undergone the menopause. All you need now is some HRT to rejuvenate your sex life and make you interested in young men you can never have. I wish my PC as made of wood so that I could set it on fire and throw it out the window. I hope no one notices I just wanted to answer JerseyKrissi and couldn’t think of a better wish for myself.

Granted you now know what your dream job is and thus you will never do it because dreams are only dreams after all. I wish that so many people didn’t hate me it hurts and I’m tired. Cut me do I not bleed, stab me in the hand with a pencil do I not cry? Etc.

Granted, and you become loved and admired by everyone. However, you grow tired of the constant attention and wish for the days when people weren't constantly crowding you for your affections. I wish that I could simply move about from one place to another in the blink of an eye.

Granted, but you find that once started, the spell you have cast cannot be stopped as you find yourself wading through it all. I wish I had the ability to relive one night over without affecting anything that has happened after it.

Granted... your suitcases now always pack and unpack themselves. However, when you reach your business destination, you find that your suitcases have packed themselves for a "lifestyle" vacation, and you feel a little silly trying to explain that corsets and leather wear are actually the new business dress code. I wish that I wasn't such a wuss when it comes to certain things.
