You people do know that Adolph Hitler and the Nazis abolished unions don't you. Seems kinda funny that the REPUBLICANS who claim that President Obama is a nazi would want to break the rights of union members and strip the collective bargaining rights of the unions.

Agreed that Moore with his wieght problem is a busful himself.  However; the oh you missed three people and we have a Joe the Plumber anecdotal style one in a million made-up example as an overwhelming proof shit, ain't gonna get you no pussy, nor any other job done.

Epic Fail on irony again.

truckinslave -> RE: Wisconsin loses collective bargaining (3/13/2011 4:55:25 PM)

The only poll that counts will be taken again in Nov. 2012.
Elections have consequences.

How many Dims do you think will make restoring collective bargaining rights for pensions the cornerstone of their campaigns?
Will repealing the required approval by referendum of pay raises above COLA be a big positive issue for Dims?

Well, maybe for the dimmest.

truckinslave -> RE: Wisconsin loses collective bargaining (3/13/2011 4:57:02 PM)

Any poll question that includes the words "rights" gets a kneejerk response and is suspect.

truckinslave -> RE: Wisconsin loses collective bargaining (3/13/2011 5:00:34 PM)

I too think the recalls will be fascinating.

The campaigns too.
Will Dims run on restoring the union to full collective bargaining? On repealing the public referendum for approval of base pay increases above COLA?
I think not. Not if they want to win.

A majority of these protesters are not from Wisconsin. They are being brought in from all around the country. Leaders from SEIU, AFL-CIO my former union CWA and others are flooding Madison. They see the hand writing on the wall.

Okay, the last protest in Madison was the largest yet, estimated at between 85000 and 150000

now lets say that 60% of those are bussed in from out of state, lets say that fifty one percent are bussed in, that means at the low end, 43350 people, at 60 people per bus load (for chartered busses) that is 723 buses, parked near the capital for easy access to the protest rally.

Somehow that sounds like the Madison Wisconsin PD would have a MAJOR fucking traffic problem including illegally parked buses.

In other words, the MAJORITY of protesters are NOT from out of state.

That.
This was the test case, and the precedent.
This is the start of the avalanche.

They managed somewhere between 30 and 50 tractors. Some tractorcade. Major bust.

Sanity -> RE: Wisconsin loses collective bargaining (3/13/2011 5:10:38 PM)

DOWNTOWN DEMONSTRATION Rally Spills Off Of Capitol Square The largest gathering of the recent sustained protest movement took place Saturday, March 12th with an estimated 85,000 to 100,000 people coming to downtown Madison. They mixed with about 50 farmers on tractors, and some officers reported one donkey among the masses. At the end of the rally, there had been no arrests, and only a couple of minor medical emergencies. Law enforcement would again like to thank everyone who came to the Isthmus for keeping the peace, for being patient, and for respecting those with opposing views.

Sanity, mathematically speaking, the numbers do not add up. For one thing, for the number (the majority) as stated by servantforuse, would be, at minimum, 51%, for 85000 the LOWEST estimate, that would mean 43350 people.

At 60 people per bus load, that is 722.5 or 723 buses. Now, if they were parked close enough to the rally to actually make it logistically plausible, that means one hell of a traffic jam.

Do the math yourself, you find it really does not work.

So why not face facts, the majority of those people are FROM WISCONSIN you pathetic fuck.

truckinslave -> RE: Wisconsin loses collective bargaining (3/13/2011 6:01:32 PM)

Of all the weak diarrhea on this site.
Do the math yourself.
723 buses.
42,000 cars.
Yeah, the buses would sure cause a traffic jam.
Not that we even know whether there was one.
Or care.
Only one thing here is certain.
The unproven assumption that there was no traffic jam is. just. perfectly. fucking. meaningless.

No, it proves that the Majority of protesters DID not come from out of state.
