Status: offline 		Okay I have a porn addiction and I worry that it will keep me from becoming a Master. What I am getting at is how can I Master others while struggling with my addiction? Also I know it wont be long before my current addiction evolves into a sex addiction so that is also a concern of mine. Should I give up on becoming a Dom or could I manage my addiction?

Who can answer that question but you? You can either be a slave (to your addiction) or free. Which do you want to be? Do you have the strength to be what you desire?

Also, has it occurred to you that if you magically found yourself with a woman right now... one you found desirable and sexy in every way as well as got along with emotionally... one who will feed your every fantasy... then the whole problem might go away? Would you really be so fixated on sex if you had every single fantasy you can imagine served up to you? Most people (not all) get full at the banquet table after a bit and the food losses some of it's appeal.

How much of your current "porn addiction" is a result of just frustration?

Status: offline 		By Dom, I'm going to assume that you've got some kind of dynamic/relationship idea in mind.  If that's the case, here's the question that I have for you.  Would you want to be in a relationship with 'you' just now?

Keep something in mind when you answer that for yourself.  If your addiction is porn and/or sex, you have to look at it from the perspective of someone who might not have that same addiction.  Can you see the potential problems that could arise? 

An actual addiction of any kind can cause all kinds of relationship problems if you make it more important than the relationship itself.  The nature of addiction doesn't change just because you find a companion.  When your sex drive is higher than hers, are you going to turn back to the same outlets?

If this is an actual problem for you, I would suggest that you do some work on it.  Your potential person that could come into your life does deserve the best you that you can be.

Not to be hyperbolic, but isn't that a little like walking up to a heroin addict and being like "Why don't you just stop injecting yourself with heroin? Wouldn't that solve this?

Probably going to get flamed for this, but have you thought of changing you nic? there are those who take on nics related to pagan deities or other pagan areas such as yours where such names do (no matter what anyone tells you) have an intrinsic power of their own and attract energies which can be manipulative and even destructive.  This could be part of a general make over on you. take on a positive mundane name and make your own power base to attract suitable subs to. Porn is not wrong but yes it could be addictive unless you have playmates who can show you that the real thing is better.. Use your porn to work out realistic scenes others can help you there as I do not do nor have an interest in scening).

How can you expect to be in control of another life so close to your own, when you are not yet in control of yours first?

Now, can you EVER cut it as a dom? Well, you're what, 19? Unless you're planning on not living past today, that's something only you can answer, not any of us. You have (most likely) a lot of future ahead of you. That's like me asking if I could EVER cut it as a neurosurgeon. At this moment, not even remotely. But, people and things change, and with the right changes I certainly could in the future, I'm sure, if that was my goal. So, COULD you? Probably, but that's entirely up to you.

I doubt that you would expect me to either..  I feel no need to justify this other than to say I am a product of my upbringing and the figures who were important to me as a child. I know I emulate them without thought and find nothing wrong with that. It just means that at time I come across a chap like you who enjoys making a mockery of it.. Firstly, don't presume to tell me what I do, or do not, think, or expect. Put simply, you’re not up to the job. The fact you repeat the term, time and again, bespeaks a certain lack of originality.
