I'm trying just a whole bunch of veggies and proteins together. Some have worked. Some, meh. I'm going out of town for the week and may need to stock up so that other people don't need to cater to me and my diet (especially since some days will be spent in the hospital keeping my friend company as her daughter recovers from surgery) It's only the first few days so it's still a lot of trial and error. I've learned that frozen lima beans are gross so far. I got the informtion from a book, I mentoned it early called "The 4-Hour Body: The Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat Loss, Incredible Sex and Becoming Superhuman" by Timothy Ferriss, he has a slow carb diet in there which I'm following pretty well thus far but yeah, the food is blah. I've looked online for varying lists of what I should and shouldn't have. The worst part is, foods I never obsessed about before are becoming cravings. Like I'm aware of WAY more pizza delivery people at my complex and all I think about is how yummy a piece of pizza would be. Or a nice cold Coke or something. It's sucky. I have no idea what to do about the cravings, trying to ignore them just makes it that much worse. I use a lot of spices and seasonings in my cooking. I never use salt unless the recipe specifically calls for it and even then I sometimes leave it out. My go-to seasonings are: Italian Seasoning, Dill, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder and Black Pepper. I've got all sorts of crazy ones too like I've got Herbes de Provence and have no idea what to do with them. I just saw it and thought "Looks interesting, why not." In any event I weighed myself today and I'm ten pounds down from where I was when I was weighed just a few weeks ago. So, yay me. [:D] The keeping on top of actually doing more physical activity and doing it regularly is obviously helping, and seeing the proof definitely is helping to reinforce it.
