farglebargle -> Why do Republicans hate America? (7/8/2011 9:37:51 AM)

The way they wrap themselves in the American Flag is the give away.

It's like a married closeted gay guy growing a big macho beard to reassure himself.

But do they ever consider what they're doing when they wipe their messy BBQ hands on a flag napkin and throw it in the garbage?

I think not.

I second that nomination.  Can the chairperson call for a vote?

Anyone (including myself) who reads the OP's new thread is just a little more stupid for doing so.

Owner59 -> RE: Why do Republicans hate America? (7/8/2011 3:48:28 PM)

It`s not America so much as it`s Americans they hate.

Let`s look at recent events(just 2 and a half years ago)

They, the republicans helped, aided, covered for, abetted and enabled the banksters to steal our savings.

Then, the cons signed an IOU for hundreds of billions more of OUR HARD EARNED MONEY to give the bankers AGAIN and left us to pay the IOU,which we still owe now, today.

They were LOSING ,let alone creating, a hundred thousand existing jobs a month.A 100,000 jobs lost, every month. What`s that a year?

Then, after devastating the private sector middle class, they targeted (and are doing great damage to) the public sector middle-class,...unions,teachers,cops,EMTs,firemen,etc. under the guise of "being financially responsible"[8|].

They actually welcome any loss of jobs,...... and even celebrate them,.....if, they are public sector jobs,if...they are union jobs,if.....they are teachers or sanitation workers,if the work the road crew, etc. You know, the heavy hand of government.[8|]

That`s the strategy really.

Put government in debt(still our debt, the middle class`to pay off, btw)and then some and then claim there`s no money for battered women and their kids or for,CHIP,WIC,Planned Parenthood or any other social program that THEY DON`T LIKE.

They can`t get their way through normal channels or with ideas folks embrace.

So,instead they seek to starve government of money, and ram-rod their form of social agenda through,..... to get to the ends they want and can`t get otherwise, like through law making, the ballad box, etc.

They don`t care how they shrink government even if it means a lot of Americans suffer.

Like today,I don`t see so much sympathy or apathy for the unemployed or over the jobs situation.

I see cons taking delight in it.

How fucked up is that?

housesub4you -> RE: Why do Republicans hate America? (7/8/2011 4:04:16 PM)

But that is not hate....that is taking care of those who take care of them...it has nothing to do with hate...just power and greed...and that has been around for a long long time.  Of course every empire who followed greed and power has failed...

America opposes their thirst for one-party rule, financial dominance, a permanent two-class system, a Christian theology in place of the Constitution, and slashing services in favor of tax-breaks for the wealthy.

I know what you mean.

Those leftists keep trying to trying to ban gay marriage and think homosexuality is sinful.

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) is the first GOP candidate to sign a controversial pledge to oppose same sex marriage and uphold "family values," circulated by the Iowa conservative group "THE FAMiLY LEADER."

Wait!

Is Michele Bachmann a leftist now?

erieangel -> RE: Why do Republicans hate America? (7/9/2011 6:11:38 AM)

Bachmann would like nothing better than to peer into everybody's bedrooms and make sure we are all doing it missionary style, i'm sure.

ArizonaBossMan -> Why do lib#$%$ feel the need to pit Americans against each other? (7/9/2011 6:15:13 AM)

Good grief these lib#$% are amazingly ignorant. It's ok. You guys go on lying and pushing Americans apart. That's all you have. You have a media that will just print whatever you push out. Never any questions.

The solution is near = November 2012.

Thank you!

A post so stupid it defies logic.  But the one good thing that comes out of it is a clear enunciation of what MusicMystery thinks that Republicans stand for.  My answer to Music is that he, of course, has no idea what he is talking about.  Both parties strive for one party rule.  If the Democrat/socialist party could be wiped out altogether, I would be thrilled.  There is absolutely no need for left wing policy AT ALL.  Of course, the dopey leftists feel the same way about conservative policies.  A permanent two class system always has been and always will be a left wing paradigm.  Music simply cannot understand that.  Perhaps if Music would travel to Eastern Europe he would get an education.  In the U.S.S.R. there was always the upper class and those people were the politicos and the captains of industry.  There was a very small percentage of them.  The rest were cannon fodder.  Moving across the fence from cannon fodder to the preferred class was impossible.  Go to a country like Slovakia and they will tell you how hungry they have been for capitalism and how exciting it is.  Socialism is a caste system that is impossible to break.  It appeals to only a few groups of people 1) those that feel they will be supported by it...a.k.a. the stupid, the lazy, the unambitious, the unimaginative, etc., 2) the absolute richest among us because they will always operate outside the system and it prevents newcomers from challenging their turf and 3) the political class that will have a greater control on power in perpetuity.  So...Music could not be more wrong if he tried.

As far as having a Christian theology, there has never been a credible threat of that in this country in its entire history.  This is a tired and meaningless mantra.  Anyone who throws it out is employing a red herring.  Was the country founded of Judeo-Christian principals?  Of course it was.  Is anyone going to deny that?  This country, that was founded on Judeo-Christian principals has brought more freedom to more people in the world than all countries combined in all world history.

As far as slashing services for tax breaks, again, Music has no idea what he is talking about and he paints with an extremely broad brush.  No one talks about slashing social security or medicaid.  Both programs have become unsustainable because they weren't managed properly.  Managed properly they both work.  Are there other services that should be cut or curtailed?  Of course and when you cut them you also cut huge sections of the bureaucracy along with it.  The problem with Democrat/leftist/socialists is that they want more services.  They want cradle to grave services.  Let's get down to it.  Music, are there any services that you would want to see cut or reduced if you had your way?  What would they be?

ArizonaBossMan -> O'dingdong admits welfare = dependency (7/9/2011 6:38:16 AM)

Even the terminally stupid like Dear Leader can often find the truth: http://blog.heritage.org/2011/07/09/president-obama-admits-welfare-encourages-dependency/

But the real cure comes November 2012

"some"...."in the past"....

He`s not implying what you hateful angry extreme republicans are.

You two are just not familiar with candor and honesty.

It`s refreshing really, not scapegoating as the problem.

Read the article, look at the numbers and do the math.  You support handouts.  You support failure.  The time for people sitting on their asses and collecting a check is OVER.  The till is very nearly empty.  If you are too obtuse to understand that now, you will understand it shortly.

farglebargle -> RE: O'dingdong admits welfare = dependency (7/9/2011 8:12:52 AM)

The alternative to Welfare is Revolution. The proles don't have the incentive to riot -- especially since DWTS is on!

Keep telling that lie, maybe just maybe, someone other than a moron like yourself will believe it.

Wow, subrob, resorting to calling him a moron, just because he's calling it as he sees it and you can't think of anything to come back with..... oh yea, that's right, your satisfaction is he's a moron.  That certainly solves a lot of problems!! [:'(]
