None of the regular reporting functions would change, so it would be perfectly fine to report them to the Mods as well as the thread.  But the Scoreboard would actually make it easier for the Mods to identity the "problem children" without directly invoking and requiring some action.

I think the bigger concern is people who have thin skins and who might "Score" some stuff that was really not a personal insult at all ... they just didn't like their own foolish words or logic being pointed out to them.

But ... then again ... this would be an unofficial thing.

Well see here's the thing... How do you know? Do you have the DD214s?

Is this something you can actually prove?

If you can prove a poster is lying about serving in the military or being a Firemen or even a flag line girl then put up! You have been railing against a certain poster and mocking their service claim for months. Yet as far as I can see you don't have any proof whatsoever and it's based completely on speculation.

I'll put it another way...what if its somebody's kink? What if someone's kink is to go onto an anonymous fetish website, pretend they some type of military or cop and live out their fantasy on a freaking message board? They are not seeking employment with that record or elective office, they aren't trying to borrow money or volunteer in their community or appear as an expert on the evening news...so what's the big deal??? IT IS AN ANONYMOUS MESSAGE BOARD for Allah's sake!

Seriously... it is OK for you to step on some person's kink because YOU don't believe them? Would you be happy if someone mocked your kinks? Or your Boyfriends? Or your barber's?

Hey, I've got an idea. Maybe we could up the classiness level of the joint not by getting rid of insults alltogether but by rendering them Shakespeare style.

Instead of calling somebody a scum sucking asshole, write instead, "thy counterance is liken unto my nether regions and thou sustains thyself by ingesting ofal."

Instead of writing "you're a fucking idiot," write instead, "thou caper about like a pickle brained foal."

An so on.
