Per your source.

He reads it himself every day like a big boy instead of having to have it read TO him like his predecessor.

Your second post says nothing about security briefings. It only mentions that a speech got pushed back a half hour.

Seriously, how do you absorb material better? Do you absorb it by reading it or having it read to you?

Most people are visually oriented so the former is true.

its not like he cant use an ipad or table to use viber or skype or get in touch with anyone when he is in airforce one, ....being physically present is more important??

Let's see... A thread was started stating that Bush knew in advance that an attack was imminent. Obama was told as early as September 4th that our embassies were going to be attacked on 9-11... Naw, there's no comparison to be made here, because 3000 people didn't die... Is that what you're excuse is?

Really? You see no problem with blaming Bush because of his inaction, but give Obama a pass for his inaction?

if I was the president and the shit was hitting the fan in yemen and libya and whatnot, I wouldnt be in the briefing either, my guys would get their postions and intelligence and whys and wherfores sorted out and some intelligence gathered and then we would act.

The President receives the written PDB every day. Unlike the previous occupant of the White House he can actually read for comprehension and doesn't need the PDB read and explained to him every day.

Ok so someone types up a PDB and delivers it to the residence... Now we have the people here claiming they KNOW the President actually picks up the paper and reads it.

Why they must have spy camera's set up in the residence. Keep ASSUMING guys, we ALL know how that turns out.
