Great day and a beginning for Michigan.[:D]

One of the main reasons I watch Fox News is because you liberal Progressives hate it so much. I figure, if you hate it so much it has to be the most accurate and honest news out there.[8D]

ROFL

While the libs deployed Jesse Jackson to call for a 1 day national union strike (because the nation would be oh-so crippled if the least productive 12% of the workforce had a day off...) the bill was being signed into law.

Interesting isn't it that Unions are all about the workers right to choose, yet...when choice is offered......?

(What I find even more interesting is, the Union thug who wanted the guy to "back the fuck off" who was simply asking a valid question....is wearing an AT&T hat....a company that 4 years ago laid off 50,000 employees in a cost cutting measure, moreover....the hat is made in China).

ThatDaveGuy69 -> RE: Michigan (12/11/2012 6:11:41 PM)

Word of the Day: Cowardice
From the Michigan legislature to John Boner, political cowardice is running rampant in the country and it's being lead by the Republican party.

The chickenshit reps in Michigan rammed their Right-To-Work-For-Less law through without so much as a single committe meeting or public hearing. How many state laws were boken in your rush to destroy the unions?

And John Boner is trying to hide behind the president "Where is the President's spending cut proposal?". Excuse me, Mr Speaker? Civics 101: The President proposes, the Congress disposes. As the leader of the House of Representative, Speaker Boner should know that all taxing and spending bills originate in the House. Not in the Senate, and not in the Oval Office. In the HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES.

Pay back for losing the election? GOP: Grow the fuck up!

Made by Hanes... which is Head Quartered in NC.

Amazing how convoluted this all gets.

Unions are NOT about a worker's right to choose - they are about having a single voice at the bargaining table to negotiate wages and working conditions.

Oh, but suddenly the GOP got religion about "choice". Like a woman's right to choose an abortion. Or being able to choose your spouse if you're gay. Or women being able to choose birth control... The hypocracy of the GOP is nauseating.

This is a last, desperate gasp of a dieing political party. What's left of the Old White Guys will become even more extreme and irrelevant. Maybe then we'll see a strong, progressive 3rd party emerge that can demonstrate true leadership.

So many people forget the lives lost when the union movement 1st came into being and so many more forget that unions created a strong, prosperous middle class. We should not be engaged in a race to the bottom. Rather, we should be working to raise standards around the world. That is what a leader would do.

Uhmm.....Daaaaaaave.....unions have been losing ground for 40 years. This is hardly a last gasp, rather, a breath of fresh air.

Tell me....how is it that the voters in a state like Michigan allowed such a thing?

(Probably because they too figured it out).

Sears is HQ'ed in Illinois, but Kenmore washers are made in Korea. Where is GE HQ'ed, and where do they do business?

Are you going to honestly claim that what Unions are doing now is the same things as what they were doing originally? Seriously?

To the OP.. This is just how unions make a point and how they have always made a point. Intimidation. It is failing though. The failed in WI and now in MI...

I know that some of the GE CT scanners are made in China and some of their parts are made in India.

Agreed. I'm sure there was something between the two of them arguing and then the Union supporter taking swings.

Regardless of anything Crowder said or did, the violence present at the protest doesn't do anything but hurt the protest. Would it not have been better to simply ignore him than to respond in any negative way?
