ORIGINAL: Tkman117 Just shows that the right wing is once again on the wrong side of history. They will not stop progress, no matter how much they whine and moan, they will and have lost, and they will continue to loose until they learn that they cannot force their primitive views on others. Congrats USA, well done! Lets all pause for an hour of hate... You dont think there are any gay right wingers... Or other conservatives who are unopposed to (or even actually favor) gay marriage? Or leftist homophobes, or are otherwise opposed to gay marriage? Why is everything about fomenting hate. Why cant people honorably disagree about politics You do have a point, although traditionally it has always been those on the right who oppose gay marriage, statistics don't lie. http://www.gallup.com/poll/183272/record-high-americans-support-sex-marriage.aspx Although this has nothing to do with fomenting hate, I'm simply pointing out that those who stand in the way of progress (whether they be left or right) will be left behind and looked at unfavourably as people who unjustly tried to control the lives of others, just like your ilk during the civil war, the civil rights movement, the women's rights movement, and more. Names of hate groups and those who are intolerant may have changed over the years, but that hardly changes the fact that people who fought against changes such as the legalization of gay marriage are the kind of people who seek to control others and force their own views and opinions on them. It's not hate to point out that apples are fruit, so why is it hate to point out that statistically the right wing has stood in the way of gay marriage? Easy answer there: it isn't, but keep believing what you want.
