Life is a wonderful, long journey. If we found what we wanted immediately, how would we know if it’s really what we want? 

I’m the first one to admit how frustrating it is to find a good Mistress, but I certainly am not going to change what I’m looking for or what will make me ultimately happy.  I just know that when I find her, I’ll just be that much happier and that it was worth being patient for the true person I desire than something else.

If femdom is your kink and you don't want the more extreme fetishes that seem more common, why not convert vanilla men?  I have found that non kinky guys do back flips when they find a woman that owns her sexuality enough to be able to say "This is what it takes to please me. Get to work."   A little bondage, some roleplaying, some lighter stuff -- you take the lead.

Indeed and looking outside of the fetish world for vanilla girls to convert works equally well. I've got most of my play partners from a London-based free vanilla dating site of all places! Lots of vanillas would love to try BDSM but haven't the courage or lack someone with experience to take them in hand.

Thank you all for your responses. I have gained a great deal of insight from them all. Najek Charmer, you kick ass and do you hannble (think i spelled that right)
I can' mention you all but I would like to say a few things.
I never assumed or thought I would ever find the perfect slave. I said suitable slave. B/c I did not mention any specifics how would you know. But that is another day and anothr thread. Also, my profile has changed a few times since starting. My profile is mine and I do not rely soley on it for meeting people. I do ive outside of the online world, I go to events, parties, etc. My major issue stems from my impatience which you have helped me see, and I am grateful b/c I took some of your advice and decided to give a former slave a chance. After a good talk we came to a very reasonalbe conclusion, which I will not disclose. So let's see what the future holds.
Now as far as female slaves, oh how I desire and love a good female slave. They are a rare and much sough after delight. However, I tend to attract the ones who want me to stop having male slaves. Nothing wrong with that, just not for me.

Status: offline 		u have spelled it closer then many.. its hanable, but thats neither important or about the topic at hand. sometimes a sutible slave will become a perfect in time.. it depends on many things. i am glad to see that you have.. grown in ur life of BDSM. as we have said many times, patients is the key to being a good master/misstress/dom/domme.

female slaves r harder to get to listen although they r rather fun. i like having male slaves thou.. fun to play with.. in more ways then one.. but again its different for everyone.

Status: offline 		i don't know what approach you're using however i had no problem nabbing my 2 pets. have you tried communicating and building a friendship with them or do you immediately go into dominant mode? that's how i approached mine - building and earning their friendship and trust as well as getting to know them as person - learning about their interests, goals etc. that made their submission to me worthwhile too. though i understand my approach may or not work for everyone however it was a mere suggestion.

Do it right and you create a dualality. It takes patience. Of course, Iam the worlds foremost authority on my own opinion.
