What is your opinion about the execution style murders of the 3 college students in Newark, N.J.?

Status: offline 		It means nothing to me from the standpoint that this guy is just a Scum-bag, who probably would have done this in his own country. He just happened to be here (illegally) when he did it, instead.

But yes, it bothers me from the standpoint that if he hadn't been here (illegally) he might not have had the chance to do it here in the U.S.

Murder is murder, whether it's in Mexico, or the U.S., or wherever. But now, there are fewer innocent college students in N. J., because of this weirdo.

And now our taxes will pay for his free room and board forever (most likely), unless he gets the death penalty.

And since I'm against the death penalty, I think it sucks that now *he maybe gets living conditions (for free) that may well be better than the conditions he was used to living in before he got here (illegally) - and all on the tax money of U.S. citizens.

As far as general safety concerns due to illegal aliens, it's not a huge concern where I live, but it exists. There is a bigger problem with general gang activity (and many gang members here apppear to be Hispanic, but many are not) - in Omaha, but that's Omaha.

Different cities (like El Paso, or San Antonio, for instance) have a far bigger concern to deal with. And from what I hear, many of their legal citizens don't appreciate the illegals - whether they are law-abiding, or not. But especially the illegal criminals.

Has  anyone considered,that illegals also save lives ,too.

I think that illegals do less violent/property crimes,per ca pita,than US citizens.For the most part,they fear god,stay out of trouble and send their money home.

The Foxheads are into a new campaign to link violent crime and illegal aliens.It`s a load of crap,as usual,but they have their target audience to scare and outrage.

Kids are shot everyday in this country...It is definitely a pick and choose as to what news a network chooses to show....It is obviously much more important to Fox to demonize the illegals than to show the violence that goes on routinely within our innercities....You tell me which one is a bigger problem that this country faces today.

How have illegals impacted your life to date?  They are a undoubtedly a problem.....But there are so many problems that need solving and this one just recently has become the latest thing that an aging white America can get their undies in a twist over.....

You got a problem....Well then we will show you who is to blame for your lot in life....regardless of the fact that if we removed every illegal from this country, most of the problems that people face today would not have changed in any way shape or form.  Lou Dobbs and his ilk could care less about solving shit they are in the business of pointing out our problems and who is to blame for them.  Illegals have become the new scape goats for all that is wrong today. Trust me, in a few years it will be someone or something else.

Evidently he was bonded out on other charges including fondling a 5 year old girl.
What happened to "No more catch and release?"
Didn't Bush pass the word down to state and local police depts?
*NO* illegal alien should be bonded out, ever.
They are all a flight risk and 99% of the time they never show up again for court.
They just move to another state and get more phoney ID.
Until OUR government starts *doing it's fucking job* we'll see more of this kind of random violence.
And for you that don't own them, time to go gun shopping.

I have to agree with you on this one Popeye, we have enough criminals already in this country.
 
When I go to certain areas of mainly D.C. and especially V.A. I see very large numbers of men that appear
to be looking for work as day laborers.
 
I always ask myself, "Self if you were here illegally and you could not find work as a day laborer or support yourself, would you turn to crime?"  Self always says "Yes, I would, why not?"

This appears to either be gang related or a hate crime, either way it will be interesting to follow.

Hey, I didn't write the U.S. Immigration  laws. They are what they are. I am aware of all of the arguments about how they help the economy, etc. I think they do help the economy, and I think that's the main reason the enforcement money and more serious methods to deal with them just isn't happening (either someone should do that, or just raise the legal immigration quotas).

That, and of course much of our tax money is being spent on our ill-fated war in Iraq.

domiguy: I concede you do have a point, now that I consider what you said. But still, it's our tax money - and there are quite a few legel U.S. folks who are tired of scenarios, for instance, where they can hardly keep up with their own health insurance costs, yet, an illegal immigrant can just go to an ER and get free care, due to poverty, when they are not legal U.S. citizens - and U.S, citizens pay for it with taxes. I am not a Scrooge. I donate plenty of money to charity. Maybe the U.S just needs to raise the quota of legal immigrants it will allow into the country, or process the paerwork faster. I dunno.

But yes, prison is not a great way to live out one's days, for anyone, I imagine. I retract that statement. But I do think this sadistic and-or criminally yahoo needs to be in prison.
