We have a lot of old hippies that live around here, and I don't fuck with them. When I was 19 years old, the Rainbow Family used to have a huge get together every year here in the National Forest Campground. Well some dumb ass, local redneck kids thought it would be funny to sneak up to their campsite and fuck with them. They were throwing rocks and shaking an old converted school bus that some were staying in. The old hippy guy in the bus blasted one of them with a 12 gauge and killed him. The Sherrif's office ruled it self-defense because the bus was this man's home. Hippies here carry guns, and I generally get along with them.

hell, as a state worker and a female I hate I missed the Ann Richard's era....she was an ex state worker, so she took care of state workers...haven't had one that's given a damn since then...lol
