I find it ultimately hysterical that anyone would think that ridiculing a person, means you are threatened by them. If that is the best defense a Palin supporter can come up with to attempt to stop the ridicule, well.............that just says an awful lot about their reasons and rational for supporting her. None of it impressive. Hell, I voted for Bill Clinton and I can find many good reasons to ridicule him. I am secure enough in my own intellect to do both. Much like I can find humour in my own personal faults and screw ups. Let's face it, Sarah Palin, for whatever good qualities a person might see in her (though I've yet to personally) is a deeply flawed individual that put herself AND her family in the public eye. If she didn't want to be the butt of jokes and ridicule, she should have stayed in hiding, in Alaska, cooking her moose chili. I know that I, and my life, (as most of us here) would not stand up well to public scrutiny. Which is why I have not done anything to put myself on such a public stage. She did. Now she, and those in her life, pay the consequences. Such is life. Was she too stupid to realize the consequences? Perhaps so. Regardless, it is now a done deal. Her supporters can get their undies bunched all they want. I find her alternately disgusting and hysterically funny. Just depends on moment and whatever rediculous shit she comes up with. She's sort of my political version of Britney Spears.
